The No.1 player in the Korean LPG market is advancing Forward to become a global leading gas value integrator.
SK Gas maintains the LPG market leadership at home and abroad with the world's largest LPG storage facilities, robust global trading network, and a global sales and distribution network of more than 500 channels. LPG is SK Gas' flagship business. In Korea, the subsidiary focuses on the development of new demand, the expansion of vehicular demand, and participation in the small bulk market. Overseas, the company is expanding its global trading business with branch offices in Dubai, Houston and Shanghai, as well as its Singapore subsidiary, serving the central role in the endeavor.
To advance into the gas chemistry field, SK Gas has joined hands with Saudi and Kuwaiti partners and established SK Advanced Co., Ltd., which runs the PDH business that manufactures propylene from propane by taking advantage of its LPG storage facilities and sourcing capabilities.
SK Gas also engages in the tank terminal business through its subsidiary G Hub Co., Ltd. Continued growth is expected through business diversification including participation in power generation businesses.
